Dogs not only need exercise, they absolutely love it as well! Apart from keeping them fit and healthy, exercise provides the essential mental and physical stimulation for a happy hound. Many undesirable habits such as excessive barking, chewing, scratching etc is simply your dog expressing its pent up energy or frustrated feelings. Whatever the weather, we offer regular or occasional walks for your dog. Your dog will be collected & returned to your home after their walk & will be left clean & comfortable for your return. Your dog/s will be collected from your home, if we are driving to our walk we have a spacious van which is caged & secure & fully insured to transport your pets.

According to the RSPCA, dogs shouldn’t be left alone for more than four hours at a time. So if you’re at work, or away for the day, this could be a useful service for yourself, if you're running late,we can also call to let your dog out ( see charges below) and spend a bit of time with them, play with them and feed them.

PLEASE NOTE : You are expected to keep your dog/s free from fleas & parasites for obvious reasons.

Dogs will be walked on a lead unless owners request off lead exercise (owners must sign a disclaimer for this service).

PLEASE NOTE : Walks are not offered on wekends Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.

The core working time for walks is between 10am-2pm, I cannot always guarantee times as each working day depends on how many dogs require walks and where they need to be collected from, but I do my best to suit people's needs.

All first walks will be on an individual basis ,this helps your dog to adjust, assists with bonding and allows me to assess your dogs needs and temperament.

(Please note that dogs are walked in small groups and it is therefore essential that your dog does not display any sign of dog-to-dog aggression, also if your dog pulls on the lead you may be asked to supply a 'Halti' lead which helps greatly reduce pulling. All dogs are expected to have basic training, I am not a dog trainer but do apply basic commands/directions, please ensure that your dog is obedient as this helps all of us enjoy excercise time.

Prices

1 hour group walk for one dog £10.....
(Additional family dog being walked at the same time £5 per dog extra ....up to 4 dogs from same family depending on size & managabilty)

2 x 1 hour walks per day for one dog..... £17
2 x 1 hour walks per day for two dogs....£25

Dog Day Care

Your dog will be collected beween 9-10am & returned between 2-3pm & will be out on walks with me throughout the day. So the bulk of your working day your dog will not be alone, but being excercised & stimulated, and they'll be left cleaned and satisfied after a good workout ready for your return! I could also feed them if you wish.

Prices

The cost is £20 per day, per dog.

£35 per day for 2 dogs from the same family.

Emergency Let Out/toileting visit .....£8 (within the hours of 8-6pm ...after 6pm £15 ....this service may be of use if you're out for the night & your dogs need toileting.)

Poop bags are provided by myself and are included in the cost.

Costs are payable on a weekly basis by cash or cheque, at the begining of the week ...or if using this service only occasionally then payment is required on the day of the walk.

Dogs are walked in groups , this is good socialisation for your dog , however if you prefer to have your dog walked individually please just ask.

The cost for an individual dog walk is:

1 hour individual walk..... £15 . This service may be limited to certain times due to the bulk of my walks being group walks, but please just ask .
